Breathing is something we all do…. at least hopefully so ! But are you breathing properly? Breathing seems like such an unimportant exercise topic, but it’s not. Learning to breathe properly not only maximizes your workout potential, it also is the literal motor driving involuntary body processes like heart rate, blood pressure, proper posture, and even emotions. Breathing properly affects pain perception (think of the breathing work you may have learned for childbirth), and it even affects how we walk and how we use our arms. Crazy right? Crazy good…… God made us wonderfully!

Literally…. breathing (whether you do it well or not) affects your overall wellbeing. Not breathing correctly has a negative effect on all of the above….. there’s not a neutral answer here. It’s either beneficial or detrimental.
