Insulin Resistance – part 4

Liz James · December 6, 2023 ·

Day 4: Insulin Resistance

Natural sweeteners have been around since the beginning of time. The earliest recorded sweeteners were sugar cane and honey (at least 8,000 BC), and it was a rare treat in a home….. it’s no longer a rare treat, especially not when we are knee-deep into the Holiday Season.

Nowadays, the average American eats over 100 lbs of sugar a year. (That’s the equivalent of eating / drinking 30 teaspoons of sugar a day, every single day). 😲😬

I love that God gave us foods He created to both nourish and heal. Olives have been around at least as long as sugar and many parts of the olive tree have usefulness. Take a look at this study using Olive Leaf Polyphenols: “Olive (Olea europaea L.) Leaf Polyphenols Improve Insulin Sensitivity in Middle-Aged Overweight Men: A Randomized, Placebo-Controlled, Crossover Trial. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3596374/
(after 12 weeks of consistent use of Olive Leaf Extract, the test subjects had an average 15% decrease in insulin resistance. And I quote……” The researchers noted that supplementing with olive leaf extract gave results comparable to common diabetic therapeutics.” )

There’s this study too…. (lots of great info! ) https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8398612/ Pharmaceutical Drugs and Natural Therapeutic Products for the Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
Of course, it’s just not possible to out-supplement consistently poor lifestyle choices. That said, for people who are attempting to correct some poor lifestyle habits, there are lots of options out there to support your efforts!

Do you incorporate Olive Essentials into your wellness routine? (There are several more reasons to do so in addition to supporting healthy pancreas activity 😉)

Another Big Pharma Scam

Liz James · November 21, 2023 ·

I don’t often talk politics here. Unfortunately, politics permeates every single aspect of our lives whether we like it or not, largely thanks to lobbyist money. Ken Paxton is our Texas Attorney General. He is considered to be the most conservative and aggressive Attorney General in all 50 states, and he has been under strong attack for most of this year.
Big Pharma money is arguably among the most powerful lobby groups in both National and State Govt. I’m sure Pfizer and Tris Pharma have been aware of this pending lawsuit for quite some time, and you know they are fighting back in one of the most effective ways they can (money). While I don’t yet have any proof, I’d bet my left foot that some of their money encouraged the sham impeachment trial aimed to sideline Ken Paxton.

Every time a drug manufacturer is successful in:
1. Getting a vaccine on the Childhood vaccination schedule
2. Getting a drug on the TAXPAYER FUNDED Medicaid reimbursement list,
….. they have succeeded in two things. 1️⃣They have CREATED the problem (PLEASE, go do some research on the role the current vaccination schedule plays in creating ADD/ADHD in children), and 2️⃣ They then “create” the solution. What just happened? They made billions 💰💰💰💰in the process at the expense of the health and/or the bank accounts of all of us.

Excerpt from AG Ken Paxton’s press release:
” Pfizer contracted with Tris, a drug manufacturer, to produce a pediatric attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder medication (“ADHD”), Quillivant XR. Pfizer knowingly distributed Quillivant to children on Medicaid despite the drug’s pattern of failing quality control tests due to flawed manufacturing practices. For years, Tris altered the drug’s testing method in violation of federal and state laws to ensure Quillivant passed regulatory hurdles and could continue to be sold.
Despite knowing about these serious problems, Pfizer misrepresented to the Medicaid program that Quillivant complied with federal and state law and concealed from Medicaid decision-makers the fact that Quillivant was an adulterated drug. As a result of these misrepresentations and concealments, Pfizer and Tris obtained the benefit of taxpayer-funded Medicaid reimbursement for Quillivant. “
As a rule, people don’t like politics. I don’t either. It’s a dirty business unless people of light step in and shine light in the dirty corners. We owe it to ourselves to get involved and at least support BIGLY the people who DO have our best interests at heart. Get to know your candidates AND the current politicians at the local, state, and national levels. Know what they stand for, and know who they take money from. Follow the money.
Don’t think for a moment Big Pharma has our best interests at heart. They do not. If money (and lots of it) weren’t involved, there would be zero altruism in that industry. It’s not wrong to make money. Money in the hands of good😇 people can do good things…. just like money in the hands of bad 😈people can do horrific things.
Rely on your body and on the gifts God gave us. He has given us the ability to heal. He has given us an immune system that needs TLC.

Young Living Huge Sale

Liz James · November 15, 2023 ·

Even people who don’t use and rely on essential oils as a major facilitator for their health and wellness know that lavender is known for its tremendous relaxing capabilities.
It’s always good to see science🤓📚 backed studies validating that which we already know 🥰. Of course, there’s real lavender and then there’s the fake-o stuff you want to avoid (nobody needs their endocrine system disrupted!🥲).

This study has some nice data🤓😉: sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0944711319303411?via%3Dihub

BTW, Lavender is HUGELY on sale thru November 18th along with about 100 other health and wellness tools. Not sure where to start? Here’s my list of on-sale faves and why:

Digize: (for those times when the digestive system feels 🤢😵‍💫🥴 or💩 is a problem)

Frankincense: Yes, it’s baby Jesus’ oil, but why? Historically, this is one of the most healing + wellness essential oils out there, and I use it EVERY SINGLE DAY (so yes, I’ll be buying a few of these) in multiple ways.

Immupro: Because adequate sleep is a cornerstone to health, and bonus points for Immupro’s immune system supportive ingredients!

Lavender: When in doubt, use lavender on it! (That’s the truth). This is the other oil I use without fail in multiple ways (including my DIY morning face serum) throughout my day.

Progessence Plus: Most women who haven’t been working on balancing their hormones are estrogen-dominant. Let’s just say that the world is a better place for those of us (even those of us post-menopausal) because of this oil blend. 😉💖

Thieves: If every household had Thieves, the number of sick days used would go down significantly. (ALL the Thieves… essential oil, toothpaste, cleaning products etc).

NingXia Red: 🥤If you’ve been itching to do the 14-day Reset, here’s a discounted way to do it! Grab enough to walk thru the reset once, and you’ll FEEL the difference. Promise! (Not sure what this is? Please message me.)

There’s so much more, right? If you are already incorporating Young Living in your health and wellness journey, which items were you happiest to see on sale?
Don’t forget…. if you’re new to Young Living, you can use “SHAREYL” for an additional 10% off. Ask your YL friend for their link, or if you’d like to work with me individually, you can use mine too 🙂

Dangerous Shenanigans

Liz James · November 11, 2023 ·

Three years and two months ago, I decided to not be a part of the dangerous pharmacy industry 💉shenanigans foisted on the people of the world by the FDA, the CDC, the WHO, and other supposed bastions of health, and I walked away from my career as a traditional pharmacist.
I follow the aftermath very closely and have more than a handful of coaching clients (that number is growly weekly) who have been personally damaged by said dangerous shenanigans. They believed the misinformation, not because they weren’t smart, but because they didn’t comprehend that entities supposedly designed for good could actually have nefarious and/or negligent intentions, and now they have all the reason in the world to distrust the “establishment”.
If you or someone you love has had a change in health status since taking the 💉, know that there is a group of people (including scientists and healthcare professionals) who ARE fighting for you. This is an organization to keep an eye on. Huge hearts and huge fight in their souls: React19.
For the love of all that is good, DO NOT partake in any more 💉‘s. Not for flu, not for covid, not for RSV, not for _________.
