Young Living Continues Its Scientific Excellence

Liz James · September 14, 2023 ·

I love that Young Living is on a constant quest to give us the very best. Not all essential oils are created equally… I’d never even consider asking a WallyWorld or even a Whole Foods brand to do what I’ve asked YL oils to do over the years. There’s a reason for that.๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿค“
ย
If I’m going to ask an oil to “do something “, I need for it to be able to consistently “do that thing”, and I also need to trust that the oil is even capable of “doing that thing”. Do you trust your oils enough to rely on them to “do that thing”?

Seed to Seal Science pillar: Advanced instrumentation (EA-IRMS)
I would like to introduce you to our newly installed arrivals in the Young Living Analytical Laboratory at GHQ: Elemental Analyzers (EA) for the Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometers (IRMS)!
ย
Our new Thermo Scientific EA IsoLink #IRMS Systems perform automated isotopic analysis of carbon, nitrogen, oxygen and hydrogen using bulk samples (solids like plant leaves, branches, flowers or resin, or liquids like essentials oils and vanilla).
These EA systems provide precise and sensitive measurement of #isotope fingerprintsโ€” carbon, nitrogen, oxygen and hydrogen isotopesโ€” creating a unique chemical signature of each sample. This will provide our #scientists unique insights into the history and origin of #plant sources from around the #world.
ย
These new EA systems support Young Living’s unending quest to combat adulteration of essential oils and are proof of #YL‘s continued support of our world-leading #authenticity program at the D. Gary Young Research Institute.

Young Living’s June extras

Liz James · June 1, 2023 ·

Happy June friends! My heart did a little pitter-patter when I saw this month’s gift with purchase. Almost exactly 10 years ago, Sulfurzyme was a YL freebie for the month, and it literally changed my life. I CANNOT wait for you to have the same free (ah-ha!) opportunity I had. I’ll get to the rest of my Sulfurzyme story here in a little bit….. but first, let’s talk about how the rest of this month’s freebies may benefit you! ๐Ÿ˜
  1. 10 extra points for Loyalty Orders 100PV and over. ๐Ÿ™ŒRemember, this is literally like getting 10$ back on your order (in addition to the 10%, 20%, or 25% you are already getting back in points). For example, you’ve been a Loyalty Rewards subscriber for 4 months now…. you qualify for 20% back on your order. If you purchase 200PV worth of products, you’ll get 40$ +10$ worth of points back (to use on more products for free!). ๐Ÿ’
  2. Roll On bottle Trio…… Are you making roller bottles, or do you tend to use your oils “neat” (undiluted)? A little oil goes a loooong way, and in most cases (with a few exceptions) you will get more bang for your buck by using your oils diluted with a quality carrier oil. Other advantages to diluting oils (or using a roller bottle)…..๐Ÿ‘ease of use… so much easier to roll than drip! ๐Ÿ‘when you dilute with a quality carrier oil, you are slowing down the evaporation rate of the oil, effectively creating an “extended-release” version of your oil of choice. ๐Ÿ‘when you dilute, you are able to create a less potent version for sensitive skin situations (this includes little kids and elder skin).
  3. Purification is a house favorite, especially in seasons where there are biting bugs ๐ŸฆŸ๐Ÿœ๐Ÿชฐ. It’s a blend of 6 oils that both repel bugs and also create an environment for healthy healing soothing support of bites and stings! Use those roller bottles you’re getting for free and add them to your “on the go” first aid kit. I keep one in my purse all year long. Bonus points…. Purification is also really good at neutralizing odors (eg: put a few drops in stinky sweaty shoes ๐Ÿ˜‰).
  4. Bergamot is happy in a bottle. If you are a tea drinker, you might recognize bergamot as the distinctive flavor of Earl Grey Tea. It has some pretty significant mood-lifting qualities…… if this is something that appeals to you, this freebie opportunity would be a great chance to try diffusing bergamot daily for a solid month. Keep a journal on your emotions…. you just never know what you might discover! (NOTE: Bergamot is one of those oils that may cause photosensitivity…. so if you apply it to the skin, make sure it’s an area that won’t see the sun’s summer โ˜€๏ธ rays!)
  5. Sulfurzyme tho….. If I could give everyone the gift of Sulfurzyme, I would! When it was a freebie 10 years ago, I didn’t know a thing about it, but it was free…. so I thought, “What the heck”, I’m going to try it. Sulfurzyme is the friend of pretty much anyone who has chronic inflammation. In my case, I lived with a VERY inflamed bladder…. which meant I felt like I had to pee constantly. I had already changed my diet, and that helped by about 50%. Still, getting up several times a night to go to the bathroom (again, my story was inflammation) was really cramping my sleep style. It took about 3-4 weeks to fully kick in, but the effects have been incredible for me….. literally life-changing! Since then, I’ve had a pretty severe accident and was told by my surgeon that I would probably have pain and walk with a limp for the rest of my life. Granted, I eat right, move/exercise daily, stay well hydrated… all the things…. AND I take BLM (another YL product for bone, ligament, and muscle support), and I have no pain (or limping) on any given day. We have tools ya’ll! I have been praying that they would give Sulfurzyme ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ as a freebie again for years….. people just need the opportunity to try it. I personally take 2 capsules twice a day….. and a bottle taken that way will last 75 days (2 1/2 months)….. it’s probably one of the most economical wellness tools out there when it comes to healthy inflammation support.
Enjoy your day and Happy June friends!
xoxo~ liz

Is Apeel Appealing?

Liz James · May 22, 2023 ·

Be an informed consumer. Anything Bill Gates is involved in is immediately suspect. If you see this sticker on produce, best to walk away.
….. and you can’t wash or soak it off.

May Day Young Living Gifts

Liz James · May 1, 2023 ·

When I was little we celebrated May Day! (Did anyone else do this?) We would make little handmade baskets out of paper and milk cartons, and then fill them up with candy and flowers and go hang them on the doors of older people and people who might be lonely (we would ring the doorbell and then run off and hide and watch them be surprised by their little gift).
ย
This month’s Young Living gift with purchase is kinda like that! I LOVE LOVE LOVE when they gift us supplements or other products we maybe have never tried. About 9 years ago, they gifted a bottle of Sulfurzyme as part of the Monthly Freebies…… and it changed MY life (and health trajectory for my bladder…. among other points of inflammation in my body).
ย
Don’t miss out on those free Loyalty Rewards Points (10…. just for placing an LR order! Remember points = cash for products you already use and buy anyway!)
Citronella…… I keep a bottle of Citronella in the Laundry room (I use it on my dryer balls in the summer…. it is a fresh scent, and it helps keep the mosquitoes and biting bugs away….. if you have an outdoor kitchen or spend a lot of time on the patio… put a diffuser out there. It’s WAY healthier than the toxic chemicals that are used to do the same thing. Citronella is known to repel spiders, gnats, fleas, and mosquitoes. A great recipe for naturally repelling pests from your garden plants…. ( 1 tsp castile soap, 10 drops peppermint, 10 drops rosemary, 10 drops citronella, 10 drops lemongrass, and water in a 16 oz spray bottle. Mist the leaves and stem of the plant๐ŸŒฟ every 5-7 days)
ย
DiGize….. Such an important oil blend for keeping the digestive system happy. For many people, DiGize was the “aha” moment that essential oils are a valuable tool and should never be left out of a first aid kit. If indigestion is a “thing” for you, try a little dab in your belly button ๐Ÿ˜‰. Can I see a show of hands on those who have back walked out of some ๐Ÿ˜ต๐Ÿคข๐Ÿฅดmoments thanks to this blend?
ย
Detoxzyme is a fantastic companion to DiGize. Sooooooo many people don’t understand that their digestive woes are often partially the result of insufficient digestive enzymes. Such an easy fix! Detoxzyme is helpful in the digestive process, and it’s formulated to be extra helpful if you are interested in improving your elimination of toxins. It can be taken regularly to assist in the process. PRO Tip: Before going to bed, load up on Detoxzyme…. the liver is most active at night, and you’ll drop more toxins laden ๐Ÿ’ฉ in the toilet the next day!
ย
Rose Ointment…… I’ve heard so many beautiful skin-healing stories about this helpful tool! It is deeply soothing for dry, irritated skin. I’m sure you’ll find it one you reach for as part of your skin TLC toolbox!
ย
Have a great day friends! Which gift are you most excited about?

Frequency Rocks!

Frequency and Singing Plants Epoch Times article

Frequency friends….. I’ve posted about singing plants before, and it appears our dear photosynthesizers are gaining traction in the music world. What are your plants saying to you? ๐Ÿ˜‰
